The SCA Group have recently been tasked with erecting scaffolding at Bradfield College in Reading. The school is a public boarding and day facility for pupils aged between 13 and 18, and was formerly known as St Andrew’s College. Founded in 1850, the college is most noted for it’s open-air Greek theatre.
This project required a full internal designed birdcage scaffold in the leisure building to be erected across the swimming pool for ventilation to be installed above. The pool itself could not be drained and was covered to allow the structure to be built. SCA also provided Haki staircases and edge protection to the external of the building to assist with the refurbishment of the ventilation system.
All works were completed to a high standard by our expert technicians ahead of schedule and without additional cost keeping our client on programme and budget.
