Mental Health Awareness Week

SCA Group proudly supports Mental Health Awareness Week – 13 to 19 May – in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation. Let's work together to create a world where good mental health is accessible to all, and everyone feels they can open-up and discuss their problems without the fear of the stigma attached.

This year's theme is movement, emphasising the importance of physical activity for our mental wellbeing. Join us in finding and sharing moments for movement throughout the week. Let's prioritise our mental health by incorporating more movement into our daily routines.

When life gets hectic, it can be challenging to make time for self-care activities. However, finding moments for movement doesn't have to be complicated. Use the waiting time to squeeze in some extra steps – whether it's waiting for the kettle to boil, your kids to finish school, or a bus to arrive. These small moments can add up and make a big difference.

Remember, if you're concerned about your mental health, seeking professional advice is crucial. Contact your GP for support and guidance, or in case of a crisis, don't hesitate to call 999 (UK) or go to A&E for immediate assistance.

The Mental Health Foundation focuses on research and policy development to prevent mental health issues. While they can't provide personal advice, they have compiled a list of organisations and services that directly support individuals with mental health challenges.
